Application and Eligibility
The Public Housing Waiting List is currently OPEN.
All applications for Public Housing will be taken in person at the Housing Authority of the City of Frederick office, 209 Madison Street Frederick, Maryland, on TUESDAYS ONLY from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM effective August 7, 2012.
Appointments may be arranged to accommodate special circumstances of an applicant.
Information to bring for sign-up: 1) Date of birth for all occupants that will be residing in the house 2) Social Security Numbers for all occupants that will be residing in the house 3) Contact name, address, and phone number for your last three landlords (including any family and friends you stay with currently or have stayed with previously).
Please be advised that case managers do take lunch, so your wait time may vary.
Applications cannot be mailed or removed from our office.
